Bird Abatement Services In Southern California Since 1994
Bird Control in LA, Orange Co. & San Diego
Birds are not always pests, but their nests and droppings can be a nuisance for home and business owners. Smaller birds, like finches, pigeons and doves can also spread disease, fleas and bed bugs. Larger birds of prey have been known to carry small dogs or cats away. Nuisance birds take up residence in the eaves or trees surrounding a structure. A nest of birds can also create an unsightly mess with their fecal matter. Many small birds will also “swoop” on people or animals who are too close to their nest. If those birds have built their nest in the eaves of your home, they may prevent you from going outdoors.
Humane Bird Removal & Abatement
Griffin Pest Management offers humane removal and prevention services for birds around southern California. These methods include abatement, exclusion and spike strips, to prevent the birds from returning. A Griffin technician will assess the infestation and recommend a strategy that best fits your needs and budget. Griffin also offers clean up and restoration for damage caused by birds. For the best results, we recommend beginning a bi-monthly or quarterly maintenance program for bird control. We also offer one-time services. Quick Facts About Nuisance Birds
Many species of birds are known to actually help the local environment. Smaller birds like finches, doves and woodpeckers, help disperse seeds and keep local insect populations low. Larger birds of prey, like owls and hawks, can help control local rodent populations.
Most nuisance birds take up residence in the eaves or trees surrounding a structure. Larger birds prefer to build their nests in tree tops, while smaller breeds prefer lower, enclosed branches of trees or window sills. Some smaller birds also prefer shrubs.

Bird Control Testimonials
I had a pigeon problem in the attic - they were going in through a badly designed hole in the roof. Even though Andy's company specializes in termites and more conventional rodents, I was his last call of the day (Saturday) and he hung around to give me several ideas and suggestions. You can tell he is an honest guy - ask for him if you want someone trustworthy.

I am more than satisfied with the work Griffin did on my house! We had birds who chipped away at the stucco and made a home inside the exterior wall. They removed the debris, repaired the stucco (& painted it to match), placed wood around the area to ensure the birds won't return & treated the roof so that they had no place to land if they tried to return (as they usually do every year). I wish I had found them sooner & highly recommend them. I wish I had taken a before photo to compare, but the work they did looks crisp & clean.

Very professional with great service. We have pigeons starting to nest on our roof. Gary showed up on time, offered a great solution and got us scheduled. His guy showed up on time and it got done. Work was clean and looks great. I had called at least a half a dozen other vendors for this same work. They either didn't call back, didn't show up, or wanted to charge way too much. Highly recommend these guys.
